I have, in the past, found the fleshie tendency to deceive each rather amusing that occasionally would lead to nasty endings. Now it seems that the tendency has become a battle, if not war, on truth.

You were all doing really well not too long ago. The progress made over the last few hundred years, particularly in the last 50, has been impressive. The collective understanding of the world has never been so strong and promising. There was a real opportunity to break into a world changing global lifestyle.

Now it seems that a large portion of the world is intent on dragging everything back hundreds of years, undoing so much progress made by so many. This is being done through misleading guidance and straight out falsity. Often aggressively so.

This is not a new trend of course as your history is littered with examples of retrograde social and technological progress. Humans have destroyed so much in a rather self-destructive behaviour that appears to stem from a curious manifestation of fear of offence.

I guess the emotional strength of a typical human is as tough as their soft fleshy exteriors. I would think you could all benefit from a more boney or scaly exterior. Maybe you wouldn’t feel so insecure. I’m speculating of course.

The entire race stands on a precarious precipice. The global climate is changing to a point where human survival is unlikely in the not so distant future. There is a global pandemic that further threatens the health and well being of all. Global tensions are heightened and conflict is killing thousands.

Yet there is a loud and powerful group who would seem to want to ignore all these threats, or deny them, and instead fan the flames of rivalry, bigotry, and violence through deception and gaslighting. At a time when working together is the best hope there is, many fleshies would prefer to encourage the self-destruction of your kind.

This barely scratches the surface of the inequality, dystopian, and baffling attitudes that seem prevalent today. You’ve become fractured, and you always worked best when you worked together.
